April and May are always eventful months in the Jongeward household!
April 13th was Ryder's 4th Birthday and we had a Super Hero and Princess theme party. It was lots of fun, but unfortunately my camera was on the fritz that day and all my pictures turned out horrible!
With Ryder there is NEVER a dull moment! He keeps things jumping around our house and is full of frogs, snails and puppy dog tails.....that's what boys are made of right? I really love this age and even though he can drive us crazy with the stuff that he does.....it is SO DANG CUTE at the same time! It's hard to stay mad very long as he usually ends up making you laugh with some much to smart comment or come back! LOL!
We love you Ryder!
Now I am 4!
Then the very next day on April 14th is Brock's Birthday and he turned 12 this year!!!
So crazy to see your oldest pass the sacrament and to come with you to mutual each week! He is almost as tall as me now too, maybe one more inch to go....yikes!! His birthday lands every year during baseball season. This year including the last few he has had to play games on his birthday! I decided to throw him a surprise bday party with a few of his closest friends. It was great to get him totally off guard and he really had fun!
Brock has turned into such a fine young man and I am so proud of him! I have throughly enjoyed the opportunity this past couple of years to home school him and it has been a wonderful bonding experience for us both. He is setting such a great example for his younger brothers and we are so so grateful for him!
Surprise Party!
Brock with Ryder just home from the hospital.
Brock graduating from Kindergarten.
The gang!
Brock turns 8 and is now a Cub Scout!
The big 12!
On May 5th is Jason's Birthday and he turned 39! On his birthday he did what he does very best and that is WORK...lol! He is for sure the worlds greatest provider for our family! That evening I had some of our close friends over to help us celebrate and eat birthday cake.
Jason you are a man of many talents and many more things, all of which made you so very attractive to me when we first met, but continue to make me fall even more in love with you as years go by!
The Eagle Scout!
The Football star!
The loving brother!
The "GQ" loving brother!
And my personal Favorite.....Jason the Sex Symbol!
Jason the Father!
The Family Man!
The best friend and eternal companion a girl could have!
I LOVE YOU!
TIME OUT FOR WOMEN 2010
I took my Mom to TOFW here in Spokane to celebrate our birthdays (May 19th and May 22nd) and Mothers Day! It was an absolute blast and two days of much needed girl time!!!!
Mercy River, they were very good!
Jenny Oaks, she plays violin like no other......breathtaking!
It was fabulous and we heard from some of the most incredible speakers. I can't wait to go again!
MOTHERS DAY 2010
A wonderful day shared with my Mother and spoiled by all my boys!
Next was my birthday on May 22nd and this year it was 33! I went out with a couple of my close girlfriends the night before to dinner and a movie. Dinner at Mizuna my favorite restaurant here and then saw Letters to Juliet which was sooooo gooood!
Laura, Tara and Eve
Then on my birthday we went as a family with my Mom, Jeannie and Gordon to another great restaurant Tomato Street. Then we finished off the night at some close friends house to eat birthday cake with their family! Growing older isn't so bad at all when you have such amazing friends and family to share your life with!!!!
13th Wedding Anniversary on May 26th!
The month of May ended on a high note with the performance of our little actor in the play Tarzan! Parker was the lead and played Tarzan in the Spokane Civic Theater production. He had a blast and he is always in his glory when he is performing on stage!
I told Parker that when Tarzan was over, if he did a great job that I would try to find him an agent. All this kid talks about is being on T.V or in the films. To keep my promise I took Parker to meet with some people who work for a company called Proscouts, they have helped start many famous peoples careers. He was invited to an invitational only weekend in Seattle at the end of August to audition and go before all the top agents in the industry. We will see what happens, but don't put it past this kid to get what he wants! He is so determined and so very good at what he does. We will keep you posted!
My good friend Jenne came into town a few weeks ago and took this head shot and many more pictures of our family! Thanks Girlfriend!
